Ingredients

1/2 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground pork

15 marinated mozzarella balls

1 large egg

1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs

1/4 cup parsley

1 clove of garlic, minced

2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp oregano

Salt and pepper

4 tbsp olive oil

Method

In a large bowl combine the meats, cheese, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, and spices. Salt and pepper to taste and mix well.

Roll mixture into 15 golf ball-sized meatballs. (number may vary)

Press a mozzarella ball into the center of each meatball and roll meat around it.

Heat oil in a large skillet.

Cook the meatballs for 2-3 minutes a side until browned and cooked through.

Remove with a slotted spoon, drain on paper towels.

Serve warm or simmer in a red sauce of your choice.
