Welcome to Explore Italy and Beyond. My wife and I love to travel and I enjoying spending time in the kitchen. So why not share our experiences? Italy is our favorite place, however, we have only been there once but it does leave a lasting impression on you. We have 4 more specified trips back to Italy planned, as well as other travel.
I will share our experiences in Italy with you and show you how to plan a perfect itinerary so you can make your trip well worth the time. I will also update this site with all of our other trips back to Italy, and also other trips we have taken and are taking in the future. As an example, we are headed to Norway and Sweden this summer, so we’ll add all of our details of that trip here as well.
On our first trip to Italy, we booked 7 tours with Walks of Italy. That company has now grown to become Take Walks and offers tours across the US and Europe. I highly recommend them. I will definitely book more tours from them if they have tours that are available in our future travels.
I have spent the last 2 1/2 years since we returned from our first trip to Italy trying to perfect my Neapolitan pizza dough, pasta dough, and sauces. In the Kitchen section, I will share these with you in detail with pictures to help you with the steps. I will also add other recipes that I make that I think you will enjoy from Italy and beyond.
