Ingredients

Favorite brownie mix

16oz cream cheese, softened

2/3 cup sugar

2/3 cup sour cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 9 inch spring form pan.

Prepare brownie batter as instructed and pour into spring form pan.

Bake brownies until set, about 15 minutes.

Add cream cheese to a large bowl and beat with electric beaters or a stand mixer until smooth.

Add the sugar and beat for 2 minutes.

Add the sour cream and beat until incorporated.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat on low until incorporated.

Pour cream cheese mixture on top of brownie crust.

Bake for 1 hour and THEN shut oven off and leave cheesecake in oven WITHOUT opening the door for another 1/2 hour.

Remove from oven, let cool, top with any desired extras, and then refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
