Ingredients
12oz caramel ice cream topping
2 3.9oz packages instant chocolate pudding mix
1 9oz package devils food cake mix
12oz Cool Whip, thawed
8oz toffee bits or chopped Heath bars
Method
Make cake according to directions for an 8 inch pan. Let cool completely.
Make pudding according to directions.
Cut cake into 1 1/2 inch cubes and place half of them into a 3qt trifle or high rimmed round serving bowl.
Top with 1/2 of the pudding, Cool Whip, caramel topping, and toffee bits.
Repeat with the rest of the cake and then toppings.
Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
