Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll Pinwheels are an incredibly popular and simple appetizer or snack that takes advantage of the convenience of store-bought crescent roll dough. They’re a warm, cheesy, and savory treat, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or parties.
Ingredients
1 8oz tube crescent rolls or sheet
1/2 lb deli ham
8oz sliced cheese of choice
2 tbsp mustard of choice
4 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp parsley
1 tsp poppy seeds
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Unroll crescent dough and pinch together into two rectangles if not using a sheet.
Spread your mustard all over the dough.
Top with ham and your choice of cheese.
Roll up dough from the long end so you have a longer log.
Slice each log into 8 slices, or the sheet into 16.
Place on a parchment paper line baking sheet.
In a small bowl combine the butter and parsley, and brush onto the pinwheels.
Sprinkle tops with poppy seeds. (you can use everything bagel spice instead)
Bake until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
Serve with additional mustard if desired.
