Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup olive oil

2 lemons

1 tsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp garlic powder

kosher salt and ground black pepper

Method

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the wings in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes PER side.

While wings are baking, Zest the lemons onto a small parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle with 2 tsp ground black pepper.

When wings are done, shut oven off, and place lemon zest mixture in oven for 2-3 minutes. DON’T let the zest burn.

Remove from oven and transfer to a small bowl. Add the garlic powder, brown sugar, and slat to taste. Mix thoroughly so there are no clumps of sugar.

Add amount of lemon zest to wings to your liking.
